Whether you live in Atlanta, or are looking for a destination trip with the girls, The Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead is both traditional elegance and relaxation, defined. With some of the country's best shopping just footsteps away (in both directions - don't think you can escape it!), this is a getaway that might have the feel of Temptation Island.
The Ritz brand equals luxury and the best in service, and the Ritz Carlton, Buckhead oozes southern charm and classic style. Whereas Afternoon Tea, a renowned Sunday brunch, and people watching in The Lobby Lounge have always been staples of this Atlanta landmark, now guests can enjoy a new level of elegance with Spa Level, a first of its kind by the Ritz-Carlton.
Spa Level encompasses the Spa, Spa Boutique, and overnight guestrooms and suites, all located on the ninth floor of the hotel. Guestrooms on the Spa Level are unique...and if you're seeking relaxation, look no further. Enter your room and you'll immediately experience serenity. A sound therapy machine allows you to unwind, renew or sleep. Pitchers of fruit-infused water, mixed nuts and snacks await you. Enjoy Tempur-Pedic® mattresses and pillows, oversized spa robes and slippers; even a yoga mat, exercise ball, bands and DVDs. Best is the selection of Kerstin Florian spa bath amenities you are encouraged to take home (aromatherapy soaps to foot balm, mud masques and body scrubs). Not to mention your own dreamtime Aromatherapy sleep mask, soy candles and more. Specially created in-room dining menus are offered for Spa Level guests featuring options with the spa lifestyle in mind (if you choose to keep things on the lighter side).
Of course, I've left out the most important piece of the package - the spa itself. Spa Level guests receive first access to appointments. Consult with the spa concierge and select customized treatments. The 90-minute Caviar & Pearl facial is divine. Combine that with a massage (catered specifically to your needs) and you'll be happy you can simply slip back down the hall to your room and crawl into that amazing bed for an afternoon nap (I did)!
That said, The Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead is located in the heart of some pretty fabulous retail therapy too, with both Phipps Plaza and Lenox Mall less than a block away. From J. Crew to Jimmy Choo, Burberry to Bvlgari, Vera Bradley to Versace...you could spend a week shopping (or window shopping).
Dining options are endless: for fabulous sushi (and delicious martinis), simply walk across the street to Bluepointe, one of Buckhead Life Group Restaurant's hot spots.
On your return to the hotel, drop by The Lobby Lounge before you retire. It's the perfect place to unwind, enjoy a cocktail, listen to some live music (select nights) and settle in for people watching.
