Well, that about wraps it up for me, I am re-booking this vacation!
AMResorts have done it in Cancun and done it well. Now Sapphire, a former Paradisus hotel, is one of the best remodels I have seen within the resort world! Located in Mexico's Riviera Maya, Now Sapphire combines Latin and Asian flare as if there were ying and yang. The hospitality from the staff is like no other as they greet you with cool clothes and drinks when you arrive. The foyer is spacious and welcoming with a relaxed atmosphere, to ensure that you begin your vacation on the right foot.
Each spacious room offers a private outdoor Jacuzzi bath so be sure to book a room that overlooks the water as the sunrise is priceless. Just outside your room is the beautiful stretch of beach that has a palm tree and lounge with your name on it. Literally! You can reserve your a palm tree for the day and they will place your name on it so you can come and go as you please. Where might one go? The breakfast buffet is to die for with the freshest juice I may have ever indulged in. You will want to bring the kids the Now Sapphires signature Kids Explorers Club where they can spend the day or evening (or both) engrossed in supervised activities! With their own private pool and activity area, you are sure to check in on them more than they will check in on you.
The dining experience is magical with a landscaped design filled with fountains and ponds that surround your edible selections. If you are in the mood for a gourmet candlelit dinner for two or maybe a casual family style meal, Now Sapphire is there to accommodate you!
And if you are looking for that extra something, and who isn't? Be sure to check in as a Preferred Guest! With a VIP lounge that offers a wet bar, fresh fruit, hors d'oeuvres and desert depending on the time of day, computer access with WiFi, and our favorite, a private pool with cabanas! It's an upgrade that is well worth it!
The Sapphire and Jade share many similarities within in their resorts. The Explorers Club is equally entertaining for the little ones, the accommodations are comfortable yet elegant and the spa experience is tranquil and relaxing. But let me share with you what makes it stand out on its own.
First we must discuss the hotel structure and vibe, very edgy, very modern and very Macaroni! The pool design is like no other. With marble lounges set in the water, poolside cabanas and please don't forget about the hammocks that allow you to lounge for countless hours inches above the water edge!
You will be nothing less than impressed by the dining selections that Now Jade has to offer. From buffet to five star delectable, Now Jade holds nothing back. Swim up bars or cozy cafe, the only thing you need to worry about is what you are in the mood for. Each selection offers a unique atmosphere for the most discerning pallet.
And if getting off the resort for a bit is what you have in mind, Puerto Morales offers golfing, shopping in the historic fishing village, hiking the Tulam Pyramids, as well as scenic tours.
Now Sapphire and Now Jade are nothing less than diamonds in the rough!
