Maybe you can have your frozen drink and a little learning too. This summer, Atlantis Paradise Island is offering several different “fantasy camps” where kids seven to 17 can pursue a dream or dabble in a possible future career.
During these seven different camps, kids can learn to cheer with one of the world's most famous cheering squads during Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Camp, cook up culinary creations at the Kids Culinary Adventure Fantasy Camp or practice their building skills alongside LEGO Master Builders.
Do you have a budding marine biologist on your hands? At Marine Adventure Fantasy Camp, kids will become junior aquarists and learn how to prep food, feed the marine life and protect their natural habitats. For kids who are intrigued by travel experiences, the Hotel Operator Fantasy Camp invites participants to go behind-the-scenes and learn the basics of being a hotelier. From working at the front desk, food and beverage, water park operations and guest activities, this camp will provide a wealth of knowledge in the hospitality industry. Other camps include Ocean Club Golf Fantasy Camp and Miss Teen USA Fantasy Camp.
And then there is Dolphin Cay, where the first residents were 16 rescued dolphins that were swept to sea during Hurricane Katrina from their previous home in Gulfport, Mississippi, and every dolphin interaction begins with an educational introduction to these amazing creatures and their story. Various programs allow kids and adults to meet and interact with the aquatic residents.
