Three warm weather resorts have crossed our radar this month.
The first, the Westin St. John Resort & Villas, encourages guests to give back during their vacation by offering a $100 resort credit to those who volunteer at nearby Virgin Islands National Park through February 15. Guests can participate in a one-day program that allows volunteers to help maintain park trails and ruins, and remove debris from beaches and coastlines. A little give and get on your vacation. Love it!
The second, CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta, encourages guests to connect with local culture and traditions with “Secretos de la Familia.” These cultural discovery programs include culinary lessons, marine life education, language exploration and even tequila tastings. From educational walks through the resort’s chili and herb garden guided by the resort’s head chef, to a marine education programs that give kids the chance to name baby sea turtles they’ve helped to rescue and release, CasaMagna aims to deliver a little more than the usual big resort experience. Those special programs, along with a spa, a beach, oceanfront infinity pool and a Marriott Kids program, put this resort squarely on our radar.
Finally, Macaroni Kid was lucky enough to experience phase one of the Villa del Palmar Cancun last June and got a taste for the fabulous combination of relaxation and pampering, exciting dynamic activities (that is, if you think swimming with whale sharks is exciting, of course!) delicious cuisine, beautiful surroundings, and luxurious accommodations. The three-phase resort is now complete, which means three times as much relaxation, pampering, excitement, beauty, and luxury! If you’re planning an upcoming Cancun getaway for your family, we suggest checking out the Villa del Palmar Cancun resort: it's safe, family-friendly, and BRAND new! They offer everything a family needs for a great vacation and they're always offering great all-inclusive deals.
