Wyndham Oceanside Pier Resort
By: Treasure Hatch
Our family had such a great visit to Oceanside, California recently. With 3.5 miles of sandy beaches and the close proximity to all things a family wants to see in Southern California, Oceanside is a perfect destination!
We had the pleasure of staying at the Wyndham Oceanside Pier Resort during our stay. This fabulous hotel and time share property boasts beach side access, a huge pool for the kids and walking distance to the quaint downtown village of Oceanside. Our suite included not only separate bedrooms for the kids; we had a full sized kitchen, laundry and two bathrooms. The hotel is situated just in front of the pier that beckons families looking for a stroll after dinner at one of the many local restaurants.
During our stay in Oceanside, we enjoyed a visit to the California Surf Museum, the famous 101 Café and had a blast renting tandem bikes as we raced each other along the beach front. On Thursday mornings the road through the village is closed for the locals as they set up booths full of fruits and vegetables, souvenirs, and other local fare.
We can’t wait to return this summer for some more rest and relaxation in this quaint town that offers all a family needs for a fabulous beach vacation.
The author and her family enjoyed a two-night complimentary stay at the Wyndham Oceanside Beach Resort for the purpose of this review.
