Lettin’ the Good Times Roll at the Gaylord Opryland Resort!

By Spencer Hatch September 9, 2014
Recently, the Hatch family embarked on a two-week road trip with one of our favorite stops in Nashville, TN! As soon as you enter the city, you see all different types of architecture, history, and of course, the country music capitol of the world lives up to its name.

The city offers a multitude of activities from walking downtown and looking at the retro local shops and souvenir stores, to the breathtaking atmosphere of the Gaylord Opryland Resort! The resort makes its presence known with its grand outdoor architecture. On the inside it is a tropical, lush and relaxing place to stay for families of all ages. We were warmly greeted by the staff and they seemed genuinely glad to see us, even with the hectic time of checkouts and check-ins from the weekend. They accommodated us nicely in a spotless, bright, and comfortable room with a window that overlooked the lush greenery of the indoor atrium.

Upon getting settled in to our rooms after a long drive, we hustled down to sample a bit of the wonderful dining The Opryland Hotel has to offer. We decided on the Jack Daniels restaurant, which has a great atmosphere, reasonable prices, friendly staff, and fried green tomatoes that made this dining experience one we're not soon to forget. You definitely will not get bored in this gargantuan resort ... we enjoyed shopping, snacking, riding the gondola, and of course settling down in front of the 100 large TV's at the Fuse Sports Bar.
