Here's what happens to me. Every year. So you'd think I'd see it coming and plan ahead.
Summer gives way to Fall, my most favorite time of the year. The weather is gorgeous, the kids are settled back into their routines and I can break out my favorite boots and sweaters. Then the holidays come barreling down and time truly seems to accelerate from November through New Years. By the time New Year's day rolls around, I'm thrilled for the short, quiet days of winter.
But that joy only lasts for a few short weeks.
Then I realize I'm freezing. I wonder if I'll ever be warm again. I've already grown tired of those boots, sweaters and jackets I loved in September. I begin to dream of bathing suits and the sun on my face.
