We have been publishing Macaroni Kid Family Travel for two years without covering Disney. Not because we don’t love Disney – we do – but because we were afraid that we wouldn’t be able to do Disney justice. Until now.
Disney World is a behemoth of family engagement, fun, excitement, education and, as promised, a liberal dose of Disney magic. It has been written about … and written about … and written about. What, we wondered, could we add to the discussion?
Then a few things happened. I missed my daughter’s holiday concert in a bad mommy moment, and the surprise of their “big” holiday gift was blown by an unsuspecting grandma. My son had a health scare. And we decided it was time to share Disney magic with our two children.
So, with the help of the Disney cast, the folks from the new Wyndham resort and several very knowledgeable friends, Macaroni Kid did Disney. And we can’t wait to do it again.
