Recently, I headed out to the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas with a girlfriend for my own break from reality. The hotel is tucked away adjacent to the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. In fact, the rooms are located on the 35-39 floors of the Mandalay Bay Resort and deliver amazing views.

Ah, and the rooms. Recently renovated in a beautiful Art Deco design. Think 1920s meets modern times. In addition to the standard rooms, the Four Seasons has renovated its many suites each with its own color scheme. Though not a reality for everyone when they travel, these suites would be a fun way to celebrate a weekend with your girlfriends, giving you a bit more space and spreading out the cost.

So, you are in Las Vegas, what are you going to do? If you are taking the relaxing route, visit the hotel spa for a true Las Vegas treatment - try the Gold Sugar Scrub and use a 14-carat gold sugar scrub to exfoliate or enjoy a desert oasis stone massage. Spend a day by the pool catching up with your girlfriends or go shopping! Las Vegas is known for it many shopping hot spots along the Strip. Check out The Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian, The Forum Shops at Caesars, or for a more traditional (but huge!) mall experience, visit The Fashion Show Mall, located across from Treasure Island.
And of course, you can't visit Las Vegas without checking out one of the many live shows! If there is a particular show you are dying to see, it is best to plan ahead. Hot tickets to temporary shows at Caesars Palace such as Elton John, Celine Dion, Luis Miguel, and Shania Twain will sell out but many of the classic, more permanent shows, such as Blue Man Group, Jersey Boys, and the many Cirque du Soliel shows are a bit more accessible.
