The North Pole Experience

By Lisa Barry-Gofberg December 10, 2013
If your kids have ever asked you what it's like at the North Pole, this holiday season, you can show them. At the North Pole Experience® in Flagstaff, Arizona, families are invited to get an up-close, behind-the-scenes look at Santa's Workshop.

This is every child’s Christmas dream come true. The experience begins at the Little America Hotel (where you should stay when you come for the North Pole Experience) with a trolley ride to the North Pole where families can head to Santa’s workshop and toy factory headquarters. To get inside, you must learn the secret elf knock. Once there, kids will meet Alibaster Snowflake – the North Pole Master Elf – and work side-by-side with Santa and his elves on the factory’s main floor building toys for all the good boys and girls around the world.

After the kids are done in the toy factory, you’ll head over to Elf University to learn about what it takes to be a good elf and catch up with Mrs. Claus for some cookies and snowman soup to keep you warm. Then it’s on to the good stuff! Santa’s sleigh is located in the North Pole’s Area 47 Sleigh Hanger where families can learn about all the hi-tech radar and equipment Santa needs to make it through his busiest night of the year.

And of course, those sneaky elves save the best for last – every visitor gets some quality time with Santa to let him know what’s on their wish list this year (fingers crossed that they are on the good list!). The evening ends with a picture with Santa to remember the fantastically festive family experience!

Families will end their experience at Santa's Workshop with special one-on-one family time with Santa for photos and sharing Christmas wishes.
