We already love Clearwater, Florida, for its warm, sandy beaches and crystal clear water, but the "Winter the Dolphin" themed guest rooms at the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach are giving us a new reason to smile.
Winter is a bottlenose dolphin who resides at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, a nonprofit working marine rescue, and is best known for her prosthetic tail. A major motion picture, Dolphin Tale, highlighted her life story in 2011.
Each new room includes a king bed and bunk beds, and is perfect for families who are fans of Winter or are enthusiastic about marine life and want a one-of-a-kind guest experience. The Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach also features a grand open-air entrance, a full-service spa, outdoor pool and, of course, easy access to Clearwater Beach.
A portion of the proceeds from each night in a "Winter the Dolphin" room will be donated to Clearwater Marine Aquarium, to support the care of Winter and its mission of rescue, rehab, and release of marine animals.
