We're big fans of family waterparks, so news of a brand new, luxury indoor/outdoor waterpark opening later this year is too exciting to keep to ourselves!
Construction is underway at SoundWaves, adjacent to Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn. The new park will include nearly 111,000 square feet of upscale indoor water attractions and activities enclosed under a soaring atrium and surrounded by lush, tropical landscaping, plus an additional 106,000 square feet of outdoor water amenities.

- Year-round indoor attractions, including an indoor slide tower with slides ranging from 32 to 46 feet tall, a double FlowRider®, rapid and lazy rivers and an activity pool with rock climbing -- just to name a few!
- Seasonal outdoor features include a 315,000-gallon wave pool with a giant LED movie screen, a 45.5-foot slide tower and a kids' pool with a multi-level play structure.
- Adults-only indoor and outdoor pools, bars, and lounging areas throughout the complex.
- A variety of dining options.
- Private cabana rentals.
