Riviera Nayarit is Mexico’s Hidden Treasure

By Mary Shoemaker April 10, 2018

Just 10 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Riviera Nayarit is a family-friendly vacation destination that spans nearly 200 miles of pristine Pacific coastline. It’s been called Mexico’s hidden treasure and many see it as a welcome departure from the touristy vibe of other popular Mexican vacation destinations. In Riviera Nayarit, visitors will find golden sand beaches, exciting outdoor adventures, and accommodations for all tastes and budgets. And this June, 50 of our Macaroni Kid Silver Daisy publishers will spend three days exploring this beautiful region!

During their visit, our Silver Daisies will stay at the new Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta, a luxurious, all-inclusive property situated on the beach in Nuevo Vallarta and offering five restaurants, four bars, infinity pools and a luxury spa.

And when they venture out to explore the picturesque region of Riviera Nayarit, here’s just some of what they’ll find:

Boating on Banderas Bay, a spectacular, sparkling blue bay and the perfect spot for whale watching or swimming with dolphins.

Shopping in Bucerias, a tiny fishing town with authentic Mexican charm and cobblestone streets that has grown into a popular spot for dining and shopping near the resorts of Nuevo Vallarta.  Six days a week, an artisan market winds through its narrow streets.

Surfing in Sayulita, a bohemian art community that is internationally recognized for its outstanding surfing, as well as beachfront restaurants and cafes, luxurious villas, and spas.

Adventures in San Francisco, also known as San Pancho, offering a virtually deserted beach and plenty of activities, including horseback riding, diving, climbing, yoga, and jungle excursions.

And much more!

Follow the publishers’ adventures on social media with #RivieraNayaritMK and stay tuned for our complete review.  A big thanks to Riviera Nayarit for hosting, and we look forward to seeing you soon!
